Sending it to us does not transfer ownership of your original photograph to Rememoir.

We do not assume permission to use your photograph or finished Rememoir in advertising, social media or public examples.
Specialist help when needed.
Some restoration, movement, video or sound may need carefully selected specialist services to help us create your finished Rememoir.
We don't keep it forever.
Working photographs are normally deleted within the retention periods explained below and in our Privacy Policy.

We want the journey of your photograph to feel as clear as the rest of the Rememoir service.
You upload
Your photograph arrives privately.
The website checks the image and stores it privately outside the public area of Rememoir.
We review
We look before you commit.
We take a look at the photograph, consider what may work well and decide what we would recommend. Sending it does not mean you have purchased anything.
You decide
The choice stays with you.
We send you a private recommendation and price. You decide whether it feels right and whether you want to continue.
We create
We create your Rememoir.
If you decide to go ahead, we use the photograph to provide the service you chose. Specialist services may help us with restoration, movement, video or sound where needed.
We delete
We don't keep working files forever.
If you do not proceed, the upload is normally deleted within 30 days. After completion, working photographs and generated files are normally removed within 30 days.

Sometimes we need a little
specialist help behind the scenes.
Creating a Rememoir can involve different kinds of specialist processing — for example, restoring an older photograph or creating movement, video and sound.
Where that help is needed, your photograph may be processed by a carefully selected service for the specific work you have asked us to provide. We consider privacy and security when choosing the services we use.

We ask before
we share.
A finished Rememoir may be a beautiful example of what the service can do. That still does not give us automatic permission to show it to everyone else.
If we would like to feature your original photograph or finished work publicly, we will ask separately. Saying no does not affect your service.

Not stored indefinitely
A clear end
to the journey.
Once our work is finished, we don't want your photograph sitting in our working system indefinitely.
Your uploaded photograph and associated working request information are normally deleted.
Working photographs and generated files are normally removed after the completed job.
Once delivered, download it and keep your own backup. Rememoir is not intended as permanent storage.
